New rod
« on: November 09, 2023, 07:17:58 AM »
Ever since they came out I wanted one. The price kept me from pulling the trigger. Found out that they had a 30% off fall sale  Took a quick road trip to Woodland. Destination, edge rods, factory. Dang, that place is nice. Told the gentleman behind the counter what I was looking for. He walked me over to the display grab three rods said here’s your choices. We talked for a minute and I decided on the 9-2 360 Pro 12-30. What a great looking comfortable rod. There’s nothing I don’t like about this rod except the price which the 30% discount helped ease the pain. Reel seats, eyes, handle look and feel great. They told me it was a two month back order. Which is fine with me especially since I don’t really need it until springer season. The tugs are the drug and this might be my fix😉🥃🇺🇸
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

Hope they hold up for you, snapped 3 of them this year about 12-16" above the reel. One on a 5lb sockeye  :yike:

They make nice rods. Their customer service sucks and their estimated wait time is typically a lie. If they told you 8 weeks I would expect somewhere between then and 16+

I snapped mine in early Oct. on a silver.  Still waiting to go through warranty.  Rod took about 5 months to get unfortunately, so hopefully I can get it replaced quickly.  I liked the rod.  Delivery and warranty leave a lot to be desired.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
