Vortex razor 10x42 hd
« on: November 20, 2023, 06:19:07 PM »
Thinking about buying a pair on Cabelas sale to replace some binos that were stolen out of my truck when it got broken into. Seeing mostly favorable reviews but a lot of people are comparing them to the early Japanese glass and sayin they arent as good. I dont have a problem with that just looking for input on them. Guess I'm a little nervous when I hear so many people say its a good thing they have a good warranty cause youll need it.

IMO they are over priced. The wife has 10x42 crossfire HD. A side by side comparison of the two in the field provides no discernible difference. They both do the job.

Amazon has a package deal that includes: 10x42 crossfire HD, Browning trail cam (top shelf camera), two SD cards and other small things for $200. It’s good price for the bundle.

I’ve had a pair for around 6 years. They’re light and compact for 10x42s. They don’t cause me any eye strain and are pretty clear. I upgraded to Swarovski 10x42ELs and don’t care to use my razors much after enjoying the Swarovski, but the Swarovskis are over double the price.
