Scoreboard 2023-2024
« on: January 02, 2024, 05:42:33 PM »
Pretty slow on this board this year. Figured I’d start up the yearly scoreboard. It’s been slow on the marten and cat line with this mild weather. Water trapping has been decent though.
Here’s the total for me so far. Pretty much all caught in the last 2 and a half weeks while on break.
20 Beaver
49 Rats
4 Coyotes
2 Coon
8 Marten
3 Mink
1 Skunk
1 Otter
2 Cats

Love the pictures. That beaver photo reminds me of some laaaaate nights trying to clean skin multiple beaver when I had work early the next morning. Talk about tired.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I remember as a kid my dad testing 330s with kill bars welded on them for WDFG. A snug piece of 1/4” flat bar the width of the gap welded into them.  You want to talk about an arm breaker.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

OH YA, those are te one's I'm talking about.  Talk about keeping your wits and using a safety tool on them.  But they were great salmon catchers.   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
