Maven RS1.2 - 2.5-15X44 FFP
« on: January 23, 2024, 03:33:26 PM »
Anyone get their hands on the new RS1.2 from Maven? Been hearing good things about it, considering it for a future rifle. Wondering if anyone has any first hand feedback.

I recieved mine a few days ago. I haven't had much time to get behind it yet and probably wont for a few weeks.  Initial thoughts are (with my aging eyes) I like that the reticle is a little thicker and the center dot is bracketed. It seems to naturally draw me to the center of the reticle. Similar to the NF MOAR but slightly more, the Zeiss does not to me. The turrets feel more tactile than scopes listed below. It's kind of big and heavier than I would like. I look forward to spending some time with it. It will be going on my 300wm.

I have Vortex Razor LHT HD 3-15 G4, NF NXS 2.5-10 MOAR, Zeiss V4 ZMOA T30 for comparison

If you have any specific questions I'll do my best to answer them.
