Shotgun Lights
« on: February 01, 2024, 07:32:06 AM »
I am considering mounting a light on my over/under in order to deal with some nuisance coyotes on my property.  I only need about 75 yards range and, since this is a short term deal, I don't want to spend any more money than necessary.  Any thoughts, ideas, recommendations?

Just tape a flashlight onto it.

My night 12 has a slim Defiant light on it. Mounted left side and has the rear push button. Homemade mount. Muy quick, balanced and lights farther than the gun will shoot.

That's not super impressive for buckshot. Especially if they arent running an 18in barrel with an open cylinder.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

Running a Sniper Hog Light 38 under the 12 gauge barrel for following up stuff in the dark.  Been super effective for my uses.

Just tape a flashlight onto it.
This is the way.

If it's not a gun that you want to keep pristine, a 5w torch affixed to the side will give enough eye shine to help identity a target.
