Is either beach better than the other?
We are clamming tomorrow and I’ve only done ocean shores in the past.
Thanks

Mocrocks is the whole beach from moclips river to copalis river. Roosevelt is the only beach approach south of Joe Creek or pacific beach and north of the copalis river. Either way the whole area in general is good digging.

There is also a beach approach in pacific beach and one in moclips that will get you on the beach north of Joe creek

Would most of you go to Rosevelt or the more northern moclips beach access point?

Had good success at both. Usually go to Roosevelt. Hard to go wrong imo.

Ive always liked Roosevelt. Hang left on the beach and cross the creek at Iron springs and start digging. I really dont think its necessary to cross the creek. I just like to!

I dug at Moclips Tuesday and the sand was terribly hard. Made for tough digging. You could actually see the clams flashing the sand when they sucked and they wouldn't leave a show. Dug at Ocean City Wednesday and it was normal. Not sure what caused the sand to be so hard but I would try Roosevelt.
