Yep, just youtube it.  That's what I did.  Tides should be good.

A friend of mine years ago went out to the westport jetty to fish. Next thing he remembered is being in the hospital next to some nice lady that he didn't know (who happened to be his wife). He eventually got his memory back after a few weeks i think. Stay on dry rocks and if you have a backpack that you can put all your fishing gear and equipment in to leave your hands free to navigate, that would be ideal. Good luck and be safe!

The best part is when you drag your shin across a rock and open it up, all while it is packing the wound with bird poop!  :chuckle:
I have a Bud that keeps trying to get me to go out to fish the Jetty, and I keep refusing. Not at my age! I watched an old duffer like me take a tumble on them last year and it was not pretty.
Convinced me.
Hard no.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

Englunds has a display set up for rigging a float and jig.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

Trick is fish the incoming tide before high slack through high slack. Smaller the jigs the better for the rockfish . It’s a lot easier from a boat and can produce some really good rockfishing. Also lingcod but expect them to be small. Mostly.
