Got a pic from a friend last night of a masher taken from the desert Hopefully we get a update soon.

Doubt it was Karl  :chuckle: :dunno: ;)
saw Karl’s buck, solid 2x3 with cheaters.  I’d probably off shot it at the end too!😂

I think the cats out of the bag now but I appreciate everyone who kept it quiet for a few days so I could get life squared away. Still meat cutting so I'll get a post up with pics soon. It's more a tale of friendship and generosity than it is of a deer.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Those are the best tales, generosity and friendship.  Isn't that why we do what we do?

That sure looks like the buck I watched last Fall and Winter from our dining room window. Hopefully this is the buck you got and I think I told you what I thought he would score this summer when I talked to you. If this is him I missed by 1/8 😂😂

So cool.

Sounds like you had the best hunt possible,... a nice animal plus being able to share it with a new friend.

Congrats Karl!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
