I've been striking out all month. I came into some red huckleberries near a creek. Do bears eat these? BLACK HAMMER ARMS07/02 NFA Dealerhttp://www.blackhammerarms.comhttp://www.facebook.com/blackhammerarmshttps://www.instagram.com/blackhammerarms

It could be because they prefer a different berry? Lots of cascara and black berries seem to be their targeted food source. I also noticed they never touch the mountain ash either on the wet side but get east and they eat them up??
Shot this fat sow on labor day. Shot her at 30' when she stood up out of the buckbrush. Shot her while she was standing on her hind feet. Lots of fat on her. (No cubs, dry sow, not producing milk). Got her hanging in the newly minted walk in cooler. Time to make breakfast sausage and lard.
Hunted for three days this past weekend. Lots of fresh sign, and the size of this was surprising.
