The large bulls are starting to thin.  The Native American hunters in the area have been doing well.  A local taxidermist north of there has two nice bulls from the Nooksack from the same N.A. hunter. Hmmm??

I would be willing to bet the average bull in the Nooksack is one that i would kill in a heartbeat in the Margaret on opening day.  I challenge anyone with a Margaret tag to produce a 300 incher this year.  Not saying it is impossible, but lets face it, it is not the Margaret of the early 90's.  The only thing you will get out of a Margaret tag that you may not get out of most is the chance to see 100 elk a day.

Well everybody can bellyache all they want about these two units, regarless I would have pulled a big bull out of whichever unit I drew. Look forward to getting downright freaky with them there Nooksack Giants.

Don't worry I don't plan on disappointing anybody ont this hunt.
