« on: September 23, 2024, 01:32:09 PM »
Never seen anything like this. Im not a trapper. Why is there cleaning brushes attached to the tree? and alligator clips?

Please Chime in .
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Not a legal one anyway, unless it’s some sort of hair snare

It has obviously been abandoned. The bait was just left to bones hanging from a wire.

Bigfoot trap?

Looks like a wolverine monitoring station to me. The brushes and screws collect hair for DNA testing.

 :yeah:

That's exactly what that is.  I spoke to a guy a few years back that was collecting wolverine DNA under a grant associated with the construction of the wildlife bridge across I90 near exit 61.  Your tax dollars at work.

Part of a carnivore study. Should have had some tips from a cleaning rod or two as well.

 :yeah: Wolverine hair trap
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.
