335 Teanaway Late Archery

Can someone recommend a campground in the 335 Teanaway for late archery....I usually hunt 346 Little Naches.

Just need Discover Pass in  29 Pines, Indian camp or Teanaway campgrounds.  If you stay north of Teanaway Community Forest can disperse camp near Stanford Creek.

29 Pines if you want to visit with other hunters in your down time. 29 Pines is at the very end of the paved road North Fork Teanaway. There is a large ( for lack of a better term ) cul-de-sac and that is where the asphalt ends. 2 unpaved roads at this point. NF 9737 is left ( Jungle Creek ) & NF 9703 is. NF 9737 no camping. Go up 9703 a bit and all kinds of stuff. Lots of pretty spots right on the river ( would be my choice ) From 29 Pines basecamp, it's probably a 10 to 30 minute drive ( depending on where your jump off point is ) if you're hunting the North Fork or Middle Fork Teanaway ( or Indian Camp campground if your hunting  north / middle fork )

I wouldn't expect to see wolves but there is an outside chance. A cougar is probably more likely.

Hahaha. Have seen tracks of multiple wolves this winter in the Teanaway driving my tracked side by side. Have a collared one on camera right down by houses where it can see the road. Followed tracks of two that were chasing a deer and found the kill sight about a mile after cutting the tracks. Don’t fool yourself, they are there and killing on a regular basis. We joke about this every time we cut tracks or hear them howling as we are waiting for turkeys to come down out of their roost. Yep, no more wolves left in the Teanaway. My brother had a cow elk tag up there last year. We were in fresh wolf sign or heard them howling daily never did see an elk. But you do have to remember two or four or even 10 wolves running together are not a pack unless they are breeding so I guess this could be an accurate statement  :bash: :bash:

You didn’t need to remove it. That video was cool. Not saying they didn’t move out of the area you have cams, but they have a lot of room to roam and they are out there
