Yeah, only a small handful of WA bucks I can remember like this over the last 10+ years, the Tripod buck being top of the list. This buck has a lot of inches.

Not tripod or close, hopefully the kid doesn’t post more than he already has on the internet about it and where.  He is going to burn his area quickly.   Sure, people already hunt mule deer where this deer was killed, but nowhere near the hunter population as the north central area.    Keep quiet kid.   Post your pictures and enjoy the attention, do not mention even the region (though it has already been).

Absolutely, it’s an amazing deer and I’m pumped up for the hunter.   I can’t imagine the feeling of succeeding at the hunt.

Wow what a buck

What a buck, I wouldn’t worry about anyone blowing the spot up. That is extremely hard way to hunt and he got his shot. Lots of insane bucks that manage to get the slip every year and die of old age.

not even close to the tripod buck area. My buddy knew about this buck and saw it at 250 yards during muzzy elk. Heavily hunted area

Dreams turned to reality. They are out there! From Instagram: "2024 OTC NE WA Buck.

I have a lot of thank yous to mention with this buck. This buck was the outcome of applying a lot of hard work, determination, knowledge learned through experience and others, and eventually God blessing me with an opportunity at the only buck I wanted this year. This buck may not break 200”, but I don’t care at all. His unique rack and nearly unhuntable habitat and ghostly habits will forever have a place in my heart. From the moment I got the first trail cam pic of him this year on May 20, I knew he was going to be a target, but little did I know he was going to turn into, in my opinion, one of the baddest bucks in the state. I had 11 cameras out for this buck, and he only ever showed up on 1 of them, and only 4x in a 5 month period. Only to be killed 50yds from a camera he was never on and 150yds from the only camera he was ever on. Standing 32yds from this buck while still hunting the deadfall ridden thick timber was a dream come true and I couldn’t be more thrilled about how it went down. Now, my thank yous…

1. I want to thank God for the ability and opportunity to be able to find and harvest this incredible animal in His creation.  " He then goes on to thank 8 buddies for helping him.
