Bit if color
« on: June 21, 2009, 07:05:01 PM »
One of my alltime favorites and Idabooners as well.  I don't see them around as much as many of the others.

An old favorite.  I was afraid with the freezing temps that we wouldn't see any.  We actually saw A LOT of variety of flowers

There were tons of phlox.  The most I ahve seen.  Both bright pink, lavender and then bleached out white.

These were all with my point and shoot lumix.  I hate that you can never capture the grand total of all the color you can see at once.  Far away shots show nothing.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

The Northwest is gorgeous this time of year.  Thanks for posting these and reminding everyone to get out and do some hiking.
