Theres one buck that surely survived because I saw him on the last day of the last season in the unit. He lives in a small area where he cant really range far and the winter should be mild. He was without a doubt the mature whitetail buck in the area and he barely survived our encounter due to brush in the way and noisy does he was following around busted me.

I've got a wide 'garden rake' WT I've seen on camera a few times.  Not really sure how good he is.  Most tines are broke when I get a picture. 
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

This guy finally showed back up this year. I thought for sure someone got him during the later permit seasons. he has a couple bigger bucks with him but been unable to get pics with my spotter yet

Thats good to know there are some survivors up there.  I've been reluctant to make the drive up.

Yeah mine made it. Got a pic after season with a patch of hair missing on his back where my arrow skipped over him🤦‍♂️. Always next year

I got a few cams that are most likely snowed in.

These 3 all made it through the hunting seasons, the tough part will be the winter and predators.

All joking aside ,"trophy" could be a dink buck to some folks .
It is disappointing sometimes.Thats what I love about hunting.
Roll the dice,might be a biggin around the corner.
I'm always glad to see a few made it through the gauntlet of hunting season.
