This guy made it, along with a few other mature bucks of equal size in my area. Cell pics out the windshield after I almost hit him coming home. He disappeared all hunting season then came back around the rut and was chasing tail in the winter wheat.

Most all the bucks I was watching survived, which is good..... They needed a couple more years to be mature bucks.  We are slowly recovering from the last blue tongue outbreak.  Now if they can avoid the cat, wolves, coyotes, bears, poachers and winter.....I may have a chance at them next year.

I don’t know if my top 3 backups survived rifle season yet but I know many of my up and comers did. Hoping at least 1 of the 160 class deer I scouted can grow into something special

This is the one I most want to make it.  I felt he had tremendous potential with his age and genetics on really what I saw as a poor antler growth year.

Ooh! That buck is amazing Bone! He has nice deep forks! He could use a little mass and that would be my ideal typical mulie!

Beautiful buck! Almost looks like someone shot at him with a small caliber and just clipped his left antler.

Here's one
Got a hole in its back.
Freaking survivor.
I did cut the pic ,he did survive through archery.
Cut the pic so you guys can see the hole better, and to keep his location safe. He needs to recover.
