I wish i would have gotten drawn for a late swakane tag this year. Can't get greedy becuase theres oonly 3000 people that put in for that tag. my Dad got it last year i will have to post pics. BUt that's everyones dream on here. Me thinks wdfw needs some improvement on their point and draw system.  :P  just a wild guess though.

Because my husband has been teaching me to shoot, he had me apply for a hunting license this year.  He also had me apply for 'doe tags'.  I was selected for special hunt in Packwood - any deer.  Not real certain what that means - any deer.  Thought there were only blacktail there.  Guess it means male or female but is there a limit, if male, on antler size?  Do there need to be x number of 'points' to a side on the males?  Guess I will find out before October. :IBCOOL:

I believe any deer means exactly that.  Since the Packwood unit is already any buck with no antler point restrictions it makes sence that they would have any deer tags rather than doe tags.  Are you familiar with the area?  I've hunted there a few times over the years with success.  If you need any leads P.M. me.
