Echo the amazing!  The only bird hunting border collie I've ever seen.  She wouldn't know how to herd a sheep, but she has the bird gig figured out.

My chocolate lab Otter on the pond one foggy morning.

Otter and myself up at the cabin.

Otto1, great pic of the dog sleeping on the back of the chair.

It never fails to amaze me how much our hunting pals can get away with inside the house.  I know I cut my lab a lot more slack than the lab cross non-hunting dog we also own :D.

My best bud and hunting partner...He never complains when I roll out of bed at 4 am to go hunt or spend all night on the river fishing, he never nags or complains when I spend money on decoys or a new gun and all he wants to do is spend time with me...un like some people My man Darby hes 11 now and this will probably be his last season so we're going to try and make it count

My dog is 12 years old this year.  He still thinks he's young but his muscles and bones tell him he's old like me.

Here he is enjoying the spring sun.

Here he is two years ago.

Here he is posing after hunting pheasants.  He is on "his" couch in the travel trailer.

May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Yeah, he looks young for his age.  He just started getting a few white hairs under his chin.

I keep waiting for him to mellow out a bit as he gets older, but I guess he will never be mellow if he isn't now (at 12yrs).  He is too impatient for duck hunting, but he loves pheasant hunting.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
