Gun is back. Goo is gone. Five and a half weeks from shipped out date. All for no charge. I'm happy with that.

Did they send it back black or did you have them add a pattern/color?

They sent it back black which is what I had before. I don't mind black so I didn't consider changing it.

Got the 280 back. 7.5 weeks. 300W still ok.  Took a chance and mailed it to them in original box. Came back in the box.

I’m sending my SX3 in. They sent me a UPS label and said take it to UPS. Do I take to UPS or does this have to go through an ffl?
Take it to UPS. No FFL needed. My UPS shipper even boxed mine for me.

Appreciate the reply!

I sent my SX3 in back in March. Their look up tool said in progress for the last couple of months. I sent an email today asking for an update. Received an email back saying completion date was October, but expected before then. About an hour later received a call from the gunsmith working on it saying the stock was back from being dipped, but was darker than the receiver and barrel. Offered to either complete and send back or dip the barrel and receiver to match. I chose the latter. Should look like new when I do get it back.
