Ok, my dog made a fool of me. Again.  :chuckle: I was sure I had a gunshy dog. He cowered a backfiring cars and ran and hid on 4th of July. I tested him a little at home with sharp noises and he seemed a little nervous but he did OK so I decided to step it up a notch. I took him to our local indoor range so he could get used to the muffled sounds of gunfire. He was more interested in me giving him treats and the guys going shooting than the noises coming from the range. After spending about a half hour there with no ill effects I decided to take him to the trap/skeet range. He did fine. We walked up and down behind the firing line a couple times. No shaking, drooling or cowering. He was kinda mad I wouldn't let him off his lead tho. The next thing I'll do is take Jack to a field and have him retrieve while I shoot. I'll keep you guys posted.
