I don’t think he was talking about accuracy. I think he said that because natives are the only one that have any opportunity in the state anymore so it probably is a 99% chance it was natives since 99% of the branch antler bulls killed up there are by natives.

Killed a spike bull in that unit one year that had a bullet hole in one antler.

Just prior to the shot that guy was probably bragging to his buddies about how he could hit the twelve inch gong ten times in ten tries at eight hundred yards.

My first thought was maybe somebody trying to speed up the "shedding" process.

I got a bull that looked like it may have been shot in the horns as well. Chipped it away but didnt break much luckily

My buddy found these sheds. Came back to camp with the biggest smile/grin. Very unique for sure.
