We got to Brewster yesterday evening at 7pm. Picked one up before dark and this morning once the sun came out it was lights out! 3 QUICK limits for us.

Brewster has been good for us. Limits everyday when it was 4 and quicker now that it’s 2.

The Chinook situation has me fired up. I listened to the meeting yesterday and they were pretty proud of the return. It’s higher than expected. On and on. It’s complete BS. They opened the lower end again because of how many fish are coming  through.  When someone asked about above Rocky Reach she said it wasn’t part of yesterday’s meeting and she would talk about it off of the public meeting to the guy that asked the question.

Earlier in the week they opened the Eniat River for 6 Chinook. They are worried about to many on the spawning beds. Those fish come and go into the Eniat constantly from the Columbia.

It does make you wonder if maybe the commission has some body’s that fish from Astoria to Rocky Reach and the hell with the rest of us.

I have talked to the Mexican restaurant in Brewster. He said his business has been devastated because of the lack of fisherman. Not to mention the hotels, stores and campgrounds.

Super BS about the Kings, there’s no reason for the closures. Which Mexican restaurant? We really like Camperos.
