Go with the Reezen, , bring your DXT with you and shoot both through the Crono and see if it is really worth it. I shot the monster , the  and the Bowtechs and I liked the Reezen best. I picked up 34 fps from my old XT. Something about the monster just isnt right??

Heading back, I'll make sure to shoot the reezen, did you get the 6.5 or 7? Are you doing the shoot in a few weeks?

Just picked up my Reezen 6.5 last week.  Tricked it out with all the latest gear.  It's a nice bow and fast.

neither, id stick with your dxt

Why?

because its  a smoother shooting/drawing bow and still shoots plenty fast enough, not to mention more forgiving and smaller/lighter

I changed the cam on my Reezen to a 25.5 draw, and shot it today for the first time. I really like it but it is heavy. Mine was 6 lbs with the arrows loaded. That's from 4.5 lbs with my Pro Rivel.
Got a month to decide what I'll hunt with . The Mathews Quiver isn't deep enough for my broadheads, WHAT"S WITH THAT?? I use Magnes Stingers...  Annette

I've shot the monster a few times, and by no means am I sold. Yeah the speed is much better but I think the DXT is smoother, and it has prooven itself. So now I wait to shoot the Reezen, Lucky Shot is sold out. I guess we'll see, but I don't think I'll gain enough speed to buy a new bow.

I'm with you in that boat.  I've got an 04 Switchback that still shoots better than I do.  It sends a 657 grain hunting arrow out at 239 fps and a 375 grain target arrow at 295 fps.  That's over 80# of kinetic energy heading downrange at an elk; do I really need any more?  Would I shoot any tighter groups?  Could they possibly be more forgiving than the original Switchback?  Would they really be any quieter?

It would be fun to see what those bows would do with 657 grain arrows, but I am having a very hard time convincing myself that it would be worth the price.

as I said before, the dxt is IMO the best both they make still....... both the new bows are nothing great IMO, the only advantage is faster speed with lighte rdraw weight, with that you sacarfice, smoothness, forgiveness and noise........ those 3 factors are way more imporant to me then a few extra fps...... I have never had any issues shooting game with my bows and they all shoot in the 260-275 range.....  ill take target accuracy and quiet bows over a faster bow anyday....... until of course they come out with one that does both, but you always have to sacrafice somewhere...... and speed bows like the monster or pse x force have insane cams that do not draw smooth at 35 lbs, let alone 70....... good luck with that in the late season out of a tree stand or on your knees........ id stick with your current both, it still shoots good at 316 IBO I believe or 321...... and its light, compact, draws very smooth and shoots well.........  :twocents:

Still getting used to the Reezen.  Went from a 28.5 to a 29" draw length.  I am tring to get used to the longer draw.  Shot a 5" group at 50 yards with a dozen arrows. I am hoping to tighten the group up by next week.  Placed 2" orange circles at 40 yards and hit 6 of the 8.  It seems to be a good shooting bow, probably not the best for shooting targets while at 70lbs, but a good bow and quiet.

Picked the Reezen 7.0 up a couple of weeks ago. What a great shooting bow. So I would recommend the 7.0
