Finally broke down and bought one
« on: June 27, 2009, 06:48:07 PM »
TC Black Diamond LR  50 cal.  Figured I should stop researching and pull the trigger.  First time ever muzzleloading and can't wait.  I have always bow hunted and can't wait to take my first deer with a muzzleloader.  Can't wait to get on the range and see what this gun will do.  I haven't been this excited since since my baby girl was born.  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

I was right where you are a couple years ago.  Wait till you kill something with it, muzzleloading is a ton of fun.

I already have the buck picked out.  I have been watching him for the past month.  He should be a 4x4 with eye guards.....Maybe bigger, he is still in velved and growing.   :o

Shock wave  250 grain with pyrodex 90 to 120 gr.  I have been doing a lot of research and it looks like a great combo.  Any other suggestions???? :dunno: :dunno:
