WDFW LICENSE / POLICY CONTACT
« on: September 08, 2025, 02:34:50 PM »
Anyone know who I would contact at Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife or wherever to suggest that WA offer discounts to full time college students from out of state that want to but licenses?

My son is looking at U of Montana and I noticed that students from states with a reciprocal program can get license for resident cost. 150$ +\- all in l, where as students from non reciprocal states like Wa get a discount of 50%, but still $639.

Hoping to NOT get a bunch of political chatter from this.  Seems like non participation states are RED AND BLUE .  See photos

Thanks

Pm me, I may know the right person to get you in contact with. Personally, I don’t see the department doing this. Because of the supposed budget deficit and how tight things are, I believe that they are going to want all the money they can, so I don’t see them cutting costs at all. The department did not support the increase by the legislature, but I don’t see them at all wanting to bring prices down now.

This would have to ultimately be approved by the legislature and governor, not just the commission.

Never happen. They raised taxes on everything because their broke. The last thing they will do currently is leave  money on the table.
If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

Voting for Democrats is prima facie evidence you are a skirt wearing, low T, beta male. Do better.
