Saw 3 bucks today. One tiny spike so he barely counts. A decent fork horn that was hot on a doe and a real nice 4x4 that was on a doe as well. Sounds like the rut is on in places. Where I was today I saw no rut activity the end of October but id say it's going full throttle now.

Watched a nice 3x3 chasing a doe across I-5 by Kalama tonight on my way home, car to the left and ahead of me hit the doe, I barely cleared the buck as he doubled back. He got to the shoulder and just stood there staring after the doe.

Back way earlier than planned... Didn't get in very far in this am and my Dad's foot started bothering him so we didn't get the cams hung but found out we can get above where our other cams are... So we drove around for a bit... Did come across a gut pile from a deer with a hawk eating on it... Only the stomach and hocks were left... Because of a previous thread I could only think hope it didn't get any lead!   Hopefully I can get in there tomorrow and hang the cams and get Dad a buck... Good luck everyone...
I love you... I really do...
