Rook my almost 8-10 years to draw the first time then I sre it with 4 the 2nd time.  Really hard to say you could have guys just buying points year after year and not even applying.   When they do jump in it throws the average off.

I drew mine this year with 5.
As great as archery is, there are a lot of drawbacks

Fak, it took me 7 when I drew it before and I was thinking I just had bad luck with it, I’m back up to 6 now and looking like odds still won’t be in my favor for a while..

The only time I drew multi elk I had 7 points. Put in for my quality elk permits all muzzy. Drew the quality permit. Wasted 140 bucks and lost my points!

The only time I drew it I had 8pts. Shot a cow on the last day of archery (still otc then) which was the season I would've hunted anyway. Paid the extra $$$ to apply for a rifle bull tag and that's it.

I think average is around 8, drew mine with 6 I think. Never know in Washington that’s part of the fun.

drew with 3pts back in 2014 and in 2022 with 8pts. With the new increased cost of the multi season tag I'm debating if I will keep applying

Sitting on 10 points.  I've had leftovers at least 3 times.
