I've never raised cattle, so my opinion aint worth much.

But I can't believe putting a guy on horseback (40 hrs/week) is gonna do much to deter wolves once they've gotten a taste for livestock.
Seems like just one more incredible waste of tax dollars to me.

Correct. Pretty much a dude getting paid $200k to ride around for 40hrs a week.

I don't believe that there is any requirement to spend money just because it was included in a paper budget. Local governments cut and amend budgets all the time but that seems to be a foreign concept at the state level.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

Strong, capable, effective leaders don't spend all day, every day, issuing threats and ultimatums.

For a man with the emotional maturity of a three-year-old and the foresight of a newt, Donald Trump is nonetheless a pretty terrible president.

Even the stupid people are starting to get it

:yeah:

Unless they sent him a contract for $200k lump sum.  Doesn't sound like they sent him any contract at all.  Just because it is in the budget doesn't mean squat unless there is a contract or financial services won't cut a check.

This isn’t as bad as the story several years back when the range riders they were paying were at the casino.  :bash:

I remember that.

Seems they were submitting Range Riding time for times they were demonstrably in town.    Shocking.

I hate waste at any level with a passion, but I find it at the executive level to be a WAY bigger deal.
