What are your opinions of these binos, specifically the 7x50 mil-spec ones? They seem kind of big to pack around all day, but I was just wondering about the quality of glass compared to the other brands like Swarovski and others.

I had a pair of 7x50 fuji's that were right in the hunt as far as optics go with my leica's. the downer is the eyepieces are individual focus and the porro prism vs roof prism, but optically they are dang near what the best roof prisms are.

Yeah, I found it kind of odd that the eyepieces were individually focused. I got them for free though, so I will give them a shot out in the field.

I've got a friend that guided in Alaska for sheep and he used them and sweared by them.  They were very heavy but man were they ever easy on the eyes.

Depends on which model you got.  Dad has a pair of the better ones with the bigger front lenses and they are really nice.  Heavy, but man are they nice.  My buddies have a pair of the cheaper model 7x50 and they aren't that great.  You wanna sell em?

They are my favorite but are heavy. The one with the bigger eye piece works best for me.

I've got a pair of 7x50 Fujinon as well as a pair of 10x70 Fujinon's.  Both excellent optics and easy on the eye.  A little on the heavy side, especially the 10x70's, but almost as good as a smaller sized spotter, and easier to look through for long periods of time.
