Maybe he's like me. This is the first year I applied for the general tags because it wasn't a giant cluster f*ck to do so. I got drawn for deer and elk. Will do deer for sure, still iffy on if I'll buy the elk tag.

So when does the 2026 regs come out? Presume most seasons will be similar to last year as posted in the 2025 regs online now?

After that application the deer didn’t cost me anything
