That is nothing but straight sportsmen harassment! That is a federal crime, enacted back in the 1980’s.  It carries a term of minimum of 1 year is prison and a possible fine of $1000.  Speed dial sheriff, or game warden.  I know all about it because I had  bunch of PETA idiots follow my partner about 40 miles from the paved road in their car.  We had stopped to check something and they ran into the trailer hitch, when we pulled away from their car it ripped out the radiator.  We told them we would call a tow  truck to get them, we did the next day when we left.  They were arrested by the local sheriff and we had to go to trial to convict them.

Dang! Crazy! Where was that? Worst I've ever had was a grumpy adjacent landowner make nasty comments. Nothing he could do, while we dragged a nice whitetail buck just on the other side of the line.  And to think, I even offered him some of the venison...

Got a similar reaction hunting the rez on feel free to hunt land by White Swan by some native lady... I was a teen with my dad... Never seen a lady so upset about a couple guys with a few quail... I couldn't believe it... My dad later informed me it's cause we were on the rez... She didn't like that...
