I could have had a Free one of those Ridge. I was on my moose hunt and came buzzing around a corner way up in the hills from there and there was a buffalo standing in the road. What I didn’t know at the time was I guess it was legal to shoot.
It didn’t really cross my mind
Bone was that during the time the Kalispell's had part of their herd make a escape and swim the river? They had a few of their herd make a break for it and swim the river. They tried to collect them back up and the few that didn't come home they said that people could shoot them.
Can't help but notice, did you shoot it just in front of the rear hinds? Man those are huge!
The hole is from the exit. The entrance is just Infront of the shoulder on the same side. I had looked for the exit hole and the only thing I can figure is that the bullet hit the far leg and pinballed down inside and came out there. The bullet clipped the top of the heart. Around and around it goes and came out there.
Keystone cans in the pic. Who was drinking them? I am trying to find the guy that appears to hunt where ever I go and throws his Keystone cans all over the place. Got to be the number one litter item in hunting areas. Yet to find an area devoid of Keystone cans...still looking for the guy.
Keystone seems to be the beverage of choice in Idaho along with many other locations. The majority of the keystone came from the members of the lions club. Along with the local amount of spectators.
