Two trained 5&8yo Elhew English Pointers
« on: March 04, 2026, 02:54:48 PM »
82 YO overly pragmatic neighbor has too many dogs. Hes got two seasons, fishing and hunting and he takes sundays off. Id take one in a second if I had room.

Both are kennel dogs but are well mannered and allowed in the house if they stay on the rug. They've been hunted hard in WA,ID,AZ,NV,NM and ND and maybe more. They are *very* well trained.

Both have the elhew arthritis and aren't up to weeks of all day every day hunts anymore but will still find the birds if they are out there. *perfect* if you don't have the time to hunt every day and they're good natured enough to enjoy around the house.

They're in Davenport Wa. Reply on here and I'll check back in a week or so and get ahold of you.

I would be interested in hearing more about them… possibly taking one? do the papers come with them! Are they male or female?

I would be interested in seeing the dogs, if they are still available.

Do you know how big the dogs are???
