If ya want some Dale, hit me up, I can mail you some dehydrated ones. We are going to have an epic year here. This is 2nd load from weekend trip, and we haven’t even been able to pick our good spot yet.

You're really kicking butt! I couldn't get out this weekend; too many open houses with realtors.

Thanks Pman! It actually took quite a bit of work, especially for the burn ones to figure out a spot that somebody hasn’t already picked. I don’t know if we’ll go back there (tons of littles still popping) because we enjoy the hunt for the naturals much more than the easy money burns.
We also found some really prime condition boletes, queens i believe.

Not only are burns easy money, they're less susceptible to bugs. Stick with them!

We had a good day today and found a couple lbs of nice morels.  Cooked some up tonight and was reminded why I need to go find some more.

I'm not a mushroom eater, but can't remember ever seeing a cluster this big so I snapped a picture.

I've only ever found them in burns. For you guys finding them elsewhere in consistent spots, do you have a plan or escouting to target likely areas? I think about my chantrelle spots and I fpund them all randomly while looking for elk or blacktail. Are your morel finds random or do you have a method?

Like hunting...... boots and miles.

They like certain trees and bushes, and fairly open ground cover/not inches deep of pine needles.
The entire Colockum area has morels everywhere I've ever looked, ya just got to have the right timing, and cover ground till ya find them. Every year its a bit different

I found them shed hunting, getting firewood, all kinds of stuff.
After you find a few,you can drive the roads real slow, look in the ditch,on the banks.
Catch a frying pan full.
Look for shaded areas, moist areas, after a rain ,find other mushrooms, morels are hiding somewhere.near there.

Wow, what a fantastically generous offer. Thank You!

They are so delicious I would feel guilty taking them and fortunately we recently found some ourselves that we sliced, cooked in butter, and used on some fantastic mushroom beef hamburgers. We just had some more rains so I'm hoping to find some more soon. Thanks again for such a great offer!
