The Senderos Shoot
« on: July 12, 2009, 04:52:03 PM »
Jeremiah and I went out with Jamie this morning (thanks again Jamie) to do some long range rock shooting. Started out at 500, then 750, then 880, and finally 970 with a nasty cross-wind. Had pretty good success at all ranges. Had a lot of fun and found out I like shooting rocks way better than paper.  :)

Where did you go? I see that you are in Tenino, and I was hoping the you knew some spot close by since I live in Yelm.

That weather sucked(wind and fog) but it still beat the hell out of sitting home. I'm pretty impressed with the Sendero's, everyone I've seen shot great. We'll have to do that again when the weather is better.

We'll go find some good spots down by brooklyn then take you on a field trip. Thanks again for showing us some great spots for shooting.

Yep, except my scope ran out of height adjustment shooting at 970 yards.  :'(

Did manage to nail the rock that was out there though, with the bullet dropping around 210" and drifting right to left 112"...

Yeah, I think you got off lucky Charlie with just an AR. Although, spending Jeremiah's money last night was fun cause he was in the  :party1: mood :party1: to buy stuff.  :chuckle:

We shot the 180 accubonds, the 200 accubonds, and the 208 a-max's. All of them flew pretty good. Probably going to go with the a-max's.
