What do you shoot?

Bow- Hoyt Hypertech Redline cam. 330 fps +- IBO, 5 1/4" Brace height, 30" draw length, 80 Lbs draw weight, Winners Choice string and cables. D loop. String Leaches, Top Gun 7 pin sight, Trophy Taker fall away rest, Stabiliser & Limb Saver STS system, Peep sight and wrist sling.

Arrows- Goldtip Biggame 100+, 29 3/4" length, 90 degree 4" 4 fletched.

Total arrow weight with broadhead is 485 grains.

Broadheads- Wasp Bullets 100 Grain.

Quiver- Hoyt 6 arrow quiver.

Due to unforseen events in my life the MONSTER XLR8 will have to wait. So the bow that I have used for the last 8 years is getting called into action yet again. I think she's got another bull in her near future. :chuckle:

In September it will be with one of two bows.

Pacific Yew Classic Take Down longbow 58# @ 28"
A home crafted Ipe and Bamboo longbow which is 54# @ 28"

Broadheads and Arrow Setup
I carry 6 arrows which are 165 grain Zwickey Eskimo broadheads with a 50 grain weight on the front (that's 215 grains up front) which are connected to the Carbon Express Heritage 250s

I use an older Black Widow brand bow quiver which has been converted into a Fred Asbell over the shoulder style.

Bow - Reflex Growler 25" draw length 56 lb drw weight; will have a XXX Archery g-string on it (just ordered yesterday); WB rest; STS system; Cobra DRM 5-pin sight

Arrows - Easton Epic ST's 26" w/ Blazers; total weight 346 grains

Broadheads - Magnus Stingers 100 grain

Quiver - Alpine Soft-lock 5 arrow

Not the most powerful set-up, but it'll do the job on a deer.

I am running a 2004 reflex buckskin at 64lbs and 30", a cobra sidewinder 5 pin sight, a fuse quiver, a something or other i can't remember the name 6" or so stabilizer, east st axis 340 arrows with wraps and 4 blazer vanes and 100 grain slick tricks. i also use a primo's 44 caliper release. i'd like to kill something with it some time, so send some good mojo or juju my way please. it all shoots really well as long as i hold up my end of the bargain.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
