I have a limited entry deer permit for the Elk Ridge unit in SE Utah in Oct.
It took 12 years of applying.

Of coarse you drew a 380 deer tag and not the elk tag!!

Was headed to Montana for combo archery until we pulled NM Elk unit 17 for archery second season  :IBCOOL:.  Now it'll be elk in NM in September and Montana elk/deer in October.  The wife wasn't very happy when I broke the good news to her  >:(.

SPOONER

Is she ever happy why you go hunting out of state?

380 elk tag is like hitting the lottery. Should be a fun hunt. Good luck.
