Well too hot too early where I was today. Saw a few deer (three were small bucks) sorry no pics.
Walked one old road grade out in the morning above a wash out no fresh sign on the way in :(.  On the way back found a fresh pile of crap and some small tracks in the middle of the road.
Other than that glassed some pretty country in the heat and gave the thermacell a workout.

Nice pics. How well does the thermacell work? And how long does it last?

The thermacell is more expensive than bug spray. But worth EVERY penny. Mine works great. It says a refill kit will last 12 hours but i'm getting about 10 or 11 out of it.
If you move around alot you might want to stick with sprays. But I predator call alot and use it in my stands for mosquitoes, black flys, and it seems to work good at driving the ants away which is a big plus. While big game hunting. I tend to sit and glass alot so for me the thermacell is a perfect fit. Not to mention I hate the feel of the sprays (oily)

Hope this is the info you were after.

That is exactly the info I am looking for. I do a lot of glassing up high during summer scouting and I might sit in one spot for a couple hours. The bugs get really bad at times as you know.
