What do you guys think?

Ok so if i was to shoot a 243(7400) what grain of bullet do you guys recommend for deer hunting? i shoot a 30-06 and use 165 gr but i added this to my collection and wanted some opinions, oh and where i hunt is mostly open canyon country(wheat fields) thanks guys i appreciate it.

80 grains seems to be doing the trick on the other 243 thread. In the video that was posted awhile back(jackelope?) the guy that was shooting a 243 over a thousand yards pretty much had to use the 105 grain bullets to keep the wind from taking it away.

It really doesn't matter. Anything from 80 to 100 grains will be fine. Just whatever shoots the best in your rifle. I like bullets that don't come apart, so I'd probably try Nosler Accubonds or Barnes TSX first.
