Equipment reccomendations

I bought a Hoyt ZX 200 a couple years ago from a friend who went up to a Bowtech.  It has been hanging on the rack since I got it, and I think it is time to get it set up and use it.  I have shot a little in the past with a recurve (Bear 76er TD) and a few times at the range with a custom Knickerbocker compound.

I am looking at sights/rest/releases and thought I would get some opinions.
I like the Whisker Biscuit concept, but wouldn't a fall away like the QAD be better?
I think I owuld prefer a single pin adjustable sight, but what would be the detractor of this?
What kind of release should I use?

Any advice from all of you would be appreciated!

i hear the whisker biscuit takes off a fletching or two everyonce and awhile. just what ive heard. ive been using a trophy taker drop away rest. seems to work pretty good. i havent shot alot of bows but i think mine shoots good. hoyt ultratec

I have heard this of the whisker biscuit too, but those I know that use them, swear by them.
I was also looking into the FOB instead of fletched arrows, but have not heard anyhting other than their sales pitch info. 

Does anyone here have exp. with the FOB from StarrFlight?

seems like the wisker biscuit versus a drop away rest argument could last for hours if not days, weeks, months, either or lots of people use both and the both seem to work fine for each depending on your preferences.
i like my cobra sidewinder 5 pin sight, really bright pins, easy to see.
i like the primos caliper release, but i don't have one. i used a friend's a couple times...i have a tru-fire copperhead release that i like.
releases?? not too sure what i have, whatever was on the bow when i got it from choclab this summer. can't remember...NAP drop away maybe? seems to work fine.

for a release ive got a scott rhino. they stopped making them. i liked the concept of not having to clip to the bowstring/loop. just hook it on there.  i think scott's new silverhorns are supposed to be a new and improved version.

heres what i mean. there is just a rhino horn shaped hook that hooks on the bowstring/loop. i just like the concept. dont necessarily listen to me, i missed my elk this year

I have used HHA Slider sights for a few years (5000 and 5500). VERY bright and Bullet proof!!! I would highly recommend them. I also use Scott releases. Again Bullet Proof. As far as a rest,I would choose a drop away unless you are going to be hunting in a Tree Stand most of the time. I have a Drop Zone and a Nap Quick Tune 4000. The Trophy Takers are also good. i hunt with a fall away, but what i like bout a wisker bisket is that you can turn your bow upside down and the arrow will stay put, it dont fall off like on a fall away

I worked in an archery shop for 3 years and absolutely hate the whisker biscuit! the thing is dangerous, not to mention tears up your fletching! (I don't know how many times people are talking about how cool it is to walk with an arrow knocked and how that rest will allow you to do so! Well thats cool if your puttin a sneak on or the animal is right infront of you, but you never want to just walk around and hunt with that arrow knocked incase you fell or what not?! just my opinion and stated by the washington bowhunters class)

Anyways, I use the new Spot Hogg Whammy fall away and I have to say it is one of the best rests on the market in my opinion! Can from using the trophy taker for 4 years and it one handedly out shoots it!

As for a sight, the Spot Hogg Hogg It Hunter is a great sight for all the adjustment - have several of them but they are pretty pricey! 

And as for a release, now that depends on the person and what they feel comfortable with, for hunting I use a Jim flecther flat head, and for target a carter chocolate addiction - even though I hunted with that release for a few years and it worked awesome just gotta keep your mind on what your doing because of the back tension!

Anyways, here are my opinions! Make of it what you can!

I appreciate all of the feedback, I will keep you posted what I finally decide on.  The wife says I need to use the money for Christmas, but hey, I can buy myself Christmas presents can't I ??
