im back, didnt have high hopes but it sure was nice to get out. i think i'll keep hitting the mornings and evenings, i mean why not ive never needed a real good excuse to get in the woods so i might as well use the good ones when they come up

tend to agree and I am about to head out and set myself up in a nice shady spot to begin my watch and wait.....really thinking its too dang hot but gonna give it a shot anyway....

runamuk,
good luck, hope to get a good report.

learned a few more things about this critter could not get to where I wanted to be still working on that......found a trail it is obviously using....too many people out and about BUT did score some intel on a big bobcat  ;) so all in all it was a good outing....now gotta get all the weeds and stickers and pitch out of my hair and clothes.... sweaty and itchy.....

For those of you that stayed out of the heat, smart move.  I was pretty close to heat stroke by the time I got off the mountain.  Had a good time until the last 2 hours for the hike out.  Heat was brutal.  We saw one nice boar that we called to 20 yards but took a 370 yard shot at, a little 90 lbr, and a sow with three cubs.  I'll post a story later.
Dreams are forever on the mind, realization in the hands.
