Anyone know of any rivers within 2 hours of Tacoma?
« on: August 01, 2009, 02:03:28 PM »
Just checking to see if anyone knows if any of the river systems have pinks or silvers in them yet located within 2 hours of Tacoma?

Thanks

if you are willing to drive 2 hours, i'd go try the skykomish or snohomish, or fish for them off the beaches up that way.  don't think it's anywhere near 2 hours drive though, more like 1 from tacoma.

i don't fish the puyallup or carbon for them.  shoulder to shoulder in that muck water isn't much fun for me.

Nothing yet! the Nasty should have some fish in about 2 weeks as well as the other rivers like the Puyallup and Skoke.

You could try the Hoodsport hatchery. I think they have some pinks now and maybe a king.
