I am shooting carbon express maxima 350 and just got my bow set up and some of the arrows have waves on them.I have a octane pro rest.I have checked for clearance and seen to have plenty any kelp would be great thanks

Try soaking them in hot water.  It's worked for me.   :dunno:

Are you punching through your target? That will make them wavy also.

And yes hot water works, had to a lil extra hot though
22 years 3 months and 4 days, happily retired from the U.S Army.

I am going to give that hot water a try.I have a block 4x4 target and they are not going thru that it just started with my new bow :dunno:

I have had poorly made fletches do that, are they carbon fletches? I shoot the maximas also and never had a problem with them doing that.

Yes they are carbon express fletching. How hot does the water have to be? I am heating it up on the stove now

partner had 4'' vanes wrinkle once on a really hot day and the sun was on his bow for a couple of hours. there are only a few things that i know of that would wrinkle them. vane clearance ,heat, pulling the arrow by the vanes,going through the target and arrows being to close to eachother in your quiver slapping together, it would make the bow real loud if the arrows hit though.
