I grew up in the olympia area, we would find the rubber boa's along the ditches on a hot day curled up getting sun. they are pretty slow, so they were easy to catch. i have not looked for them in years. I think the name of the lizard is a Skink.

I have always loved these little guys and tonight I got this little sucker after he ran out from under the garbage can. When I bought my property out by Alder Lake and I discovered that these guys werer hanging around it tickled me pink. I have always had a fondness for theses little guys. Enjoy the pic's!

Kinda looks like a California Alligator Lizard...

Yes and apparently based on eye color it is of the Northern specie.
