My son's first elk

Last year was my son's first year elk hunting .He shot this spike on opening day.

Sweet, I'm afraid he is going to think elk hunting is easy getting his first elk on the first day of his first trip though. :chuckle:

Sweet, I'm afraid he is going to think elk hunting is easy getting his first elk on the first day of his first trip though. :chuckle:

He said he was going to bowhunt next year so it wouldn't be so easy.

 Those are some memories that he will never forget. Still remember my first elk from 24 years ago like it was yesterday!
