I shoot the 700 06, love the *censored* out of it. I shoot core-lokt 180gr.

my 710 likes the 150 core-lokt's best as far as the cheaper factory ammo goes, not sure it compares with a 700 though

I have a 700bdl in 30-06 that I've had since age 13, so 30 years.  It's never been fed anything but 180gr core lokts.  Should probably take it for a few walks this year, instead of dragging out all my whiz bang magnums, that gun has never failed me.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

This is what I have used in mine until last year and had great success.  I am now reloading for it and am getting a little better accuracy.

150's, 180's, and 200's. Nozler or Hornady.  Thats a great gun.  Can shoot just about anything.  Have one in the 25-06 as well.  Love them both.

For factory ammo, try the Federal classic ammo. The stuff in the blue box, use to be a silver box. It is hard to beat for the price!

It's even easier to make a trip to the Den to fire up the shell press!

I shoot a Rem 700 in 30-06 and love it.

My gun tends to shoot Federal ammo best. I shoot Federal Premium High Energy 180 gr Noslers, very accurate (and powerful) round for me.

Used to shoot 1.  I'd probably lean to either Rem or Fed ammo with a premium bullet... 165 or 150 grain.  Pick one load and shoot it for everything.
