HWY 20 Nooksack Elk
« on: August 16, 2009, 09:47:13 PM »
Saw a group of about 25 elk Friday Night. There was a small 5x6, a few spikes and the rest were cows. They were just east of Helmick Rd, between Woolley and Lyman.

No velvet left on that 5x6.  I've seen the elk there about 5 times so far this year but never seen more than a spike.  Fun to finally see something  bigger, even if it is just a picture.
