Took my Dad who is visiting this week from WVA, fishing today.... Just me and him to kick back and catch some fish. I asked him "well you want to go and get some salmon or fish for Sturgeon". He asked is the Salmon fishing like when he visited me in AK every year. I stated NOT even close. He said why don't you take me for some Sturgeon your always excited about.... Nice liesurly drive down, launched the boat at 0900am, traveled to a couple great holes, past all the Salmon guys and got into some decent Sturgeon, we caught 15 or so, not a Keeper sized one anywhere for us, or oversized for that matter, but alot of shakers sized, which are fun too. Here are some pictures of my Dad and his FIRST Sturgeon ever. He is ready to take on Bonneville next time they come out... Winds were horrible and big waves blowing up river the whole time kicker was working us straight....
