You guys asked if anybody owns a camera who fishes Buoy 10, so I made sure to bring mine today...
Took my girlfriend (Crystal), and a couple buddies down to fish the Astoria area. We launched at Deep River at dark thirty and made our way towards the bridge in the dark. We were fishing just as it was getting light...

Started out trolling upriver since the tide was already coming in, and we had to release a small wild silver on our first pass. It was kind of off and on for us the whole day, but we managed about 20 bites, hooked 12, landed 7, but only one keeper.
Sun deciding to come out....

They finally let me fight one...our 11th fish hooked of the day....

...our 7th one to the boat, and its a 14lb hatchery coho...

Chad hooks up with number 12....

....gets it to the side of the boat...

...and the fish decides he has other plans and spits the hooks...

It was a good day to be out on the water though, and Crystal got to reel in two wild silvers (her first two salmon ever). We didn't get pictures of most of the fish, but towards the end of the day, Crystal started being our photographer.
