PFC Thomas Tucker Memorial news clip
« on: September 02, 2009, 08:13:49 AM »
My family and I went to Madras, Or. to see the Thomas Tucker Memorial unveiling on 23 Aug 09. He was killed in Iraq in June of 2006. My wife's cousin and her friend were the main driving force behind this.  It was and outstanding ceremony.

Very inspirational.....I am glad to see things like this in our country. People forget so easily the price our families pay. Really neat memorial......

Not many people know this, but Rip Caswell "the sculpter" is the son of Jesse Caswell, one of the most successful hound hunters ever in the west. He was from western Washington.

Although some people hated Jesse Caswell because he was so successful, I admired his abilty as a hound hunter. I hunted some of the same areas and saw him fairly regularly during bear season and lion season, he was a very good hunter. No matter what some people may say, you can't take away that the man was a great dog hunter. ;)

I apologize for momentarily getting off-topic.... :)
